ECC, the Elcon Competence Center ,educated about 50 users from ESKOM,NAMPOWER and ABB in advanced analyzing of Circuit Breakers,useing the SA10 and the powerful BTS 11 software.The course did have an teoretical and a practical hands on part.The users did learn differnt ways of analysing the parts of a circuit breaker,such as the linking system,contact system and the operating mechanism.Tools like DCM ,Dynamic Contact Monitoring, was practical used.
The goal of the seminar is to give the maintenace people an understanding how to do an advanced analysis on an Circuit Breaker,to make the most cost effective maintenance.
