- The gas constants are removed and replaced by a number representing the SF6 gas share in %. Caution! If you update an existing database and you are not using 100% SF6, you have to setup the SF6 gas share under “Parameters Calculation Settings”, after the upgrade.
- New database engine/format to support direct connection to Microsoft SQL Server. You can connect to a Microsoft SQL Server database directly by using the new function “New SQL Server Connection”. The SQL settings are stored in a file with the extension SQL. With the function “Open Database” you can now choose to open a Microsoft Access database (extension MDB) or a previously setup SQL connection (extension SQL). (Tested with Microsoft SQL Server 2005). Caution! If you use a third-party program to access the Microsoft Access database directly, you may need to update it because the format is changed.
